Nick Cracknell’s Psych Thriller to be published By Bloodhound
Bloodhound Books is pleased to announce the signing of Nick Cracknell and his Psychological Thriller Shallow Cracks.
Nick Cracknell grew up in Northern Ireland but moved to England in his teens. He is now 45 and lives by the sea in Devon
Cracknell’s voice may be familiar to some of our readers as the narrator of over 80 audiobooks. As well as being a professional voice actor, Nick Cracknell has also been a music journalist and a building surveyor, but considers writing to be his main passion.
Nick Cracknell was inspired to write his own psychological thriller after reading novels like Gone Girl, The Family Upstairs and the works of Daniel Hurst.
“I set myself a challenge of writing a psych thriller in two weeks. Shallow Cracks is my first go at it, and I wrote it over twelve days in May and June of this year. I was surprised how quickly it came together, but then many of the events and characters within (apart from the murders) are actually inspired by my own life. I won't tell you which bits”
